Traditional Rural Fencing

Plain Wire Fence Examples

Many people these days like to avoid barb wire.  A plain wire fence can be effective where there are enough wires to suit the application.
The use of droppers, or extra posts to prevent the wires spreading, can make for a good fence.  In New Zealand, ten plain wires are used extensively to hold sheep.  For horses, two or three can be enough.
